Creative Employment Access Society (CEAS) is an established non‑profit organization providing employment transition programs and services. We are a progressive agency with a staff of 25 who provide services to thousands of Comox Valley and North Island residents each year. We currently operate the following projects:

The Job Shop provides free assistance to job-seekers in Courtenay and the Comox Valley. We can provide you with job search tips, help you with resumes, cover letters and interviews, and prepare you to do your best in a competitive job market.
We provide a Resource Library with extensive labour market information, Career Advisors, workshops, and other services. Our goal is to help you become an effective, independent job seeker.

The New Employee Wage Subsidy Program offers a win-win solution for job-seekers and employers.
Eligible job-seekers get a chance to develop skills and gain experience. Employers are reimbursed for a portion of the eligible new employee's wages to offset the cost of training.

Aspire Consulting assists organizations to achieve excellence through the development of engaged employees, strong teams, efficient systems, and effective communication.

Vintage Advantage is a program aimed at mature workers aged 55-64, and who do not qualify for E.I. sponsored employment programs.

"The ASPECT Small Business Employee Training Program is focused on helping small businesses to grow the potential of their lower skilled workers (known as “growth employees”) by providing them access to government funded training courses that are tailored to the needs of small businesses and their employee(s)."
The Creative Employment Access Society has been subcontracted to apply this program in the Comox Valley Area.

"Employers and communies in British Columbia need skilled workers for many occupations. If you have skills, qualifications and experience and you want more training or certification and employment in your field or need to develop skills to obtain a better job, then this program can help you!"

Our community is changing. Our economy is growing and more people are moving to the Comox Valley. New immigrants and long-term residents are living side-by-side with aboriginal people, whose traditional territory we all inhabit. Students are learning in a global environment. Businesses are serving more diverse consumers. In addition, a growing labour shortage means we need to attract diverse new residents to maintain a viable, vibrant workforce.
"Coordinated by the Affiliation of Multicultural Societies and Service Agencies of BC (AMSSA), Safe Harbour is a BC-wide diversity program that provides a simple, practical, and effective way for storefront businesses and agencies to better understand and serve an increasingly diverse population."
The Creative Employment Access Society is the community coordinator for the Safe Harbour Program in the Comox Valley.
