The Head Start Program is an early intervention program to prepare preschool Aboriginal children for school by meeting their spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical growth through Aboriginal Head Start’s six components:  Culture and Language, Education, Health Promotion, Nutrition, Social Support and Parental & Family Involvement.  The aim is also to foster a desire for life long learning and to support parents, guardians, and extended family as the primary teachers and caregivers of their children.

Programs & ServicesFree preschool program for children of Aboriginal ancestry ages 3 to 5 (status, non-status, Métis, Inuit)
Registration is taken any time throughout the year
Meals and transportation are included
