Hours: Work hours can be flexible, guaranteed 20 hrs a week, with availability to cover vacations when needed.
Duties: • Accounts payable tasks including invoice coding and entry, statement reconciliations, communications with vendors. • Accounts receivable tasks including create and distribute invoices, collect accounts, respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations. • Prepare various accounting reconciliations • Data entry and filing, among other items as required for accounting • Assist management with tasks where needed • Provide coverage for the front desk, phones, and walk-ins on an as needed basis.
Requirements: • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or equivalent schooling • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and the ability to learn new software programs with relative ease. • Experience with accounting software • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task effectively • Confident communication skills, both verbally and in writing • Focused on accuracy and attention to detail • A reliable and honest individual with a strong work ethic • Knowledgeable with computers, and phone systems • Physically able to bend, lift and carry items of moderate weight, and sit for long periods of time.
