Duties: Work with our award winning team to help the public safely experience a beautiful and challenging underground environment. Educate people about the processes of cave formation and the importance of cave conservation. As Park Facility Operators, all staff are tasked with park maintenance duties and are responsible for enforcing protocols within the Provincial Park Boundary. This position requires people who are comfortable with public speaking and have the ability to take control of a situation. Successful applicants will possess strong interpersonal skills, a solid work ethic and a contagious passion for the outdoors. Requirements: Cave Guide ($15.00-$16.00/hr) - safely lead groups on 1hr, 2hr, and 3hr tours through the 4 caves within the provincial park. - 19yrs old minimum - Level 1 First Aid Certificate with CPR - Valid driver’s license and transportation - Submit a Criminal Record Check - Onsite BC Horizontal Cave Guide Certification training Cave Rope Access Technician ($17.00-$18.00/hr) - safely lead groups on the 5hr vertical cave tour and above ground rock rappel sessions, in addition to leading the 1hr, 2hr, and 3hr tours through the 4 caves within the provincial park. - 19yrs old minimum - OFA3 or Adv Wilderness F. Aid w/CPR - 2 years of log-able rope experience - Valid driver’s license and transportation - Submit a Criminal Record Check - Onsite BC Horizontal Cave Guide Certification training - Onsite BC Vertical Cave Guide & Rescue Certification training
