Duties: This Category I unionized position is open to all interested parties. Preference will be granted in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the UFCW bargaining unit for Category I NPF employees at 19 Wing Comox. Under the supervision of the Golf Course Supervisor, the Golf Course Worker maintains the golf course property using small powered and manual equipment. He/She maintains greens, tee box areas, turf on fairways or other areas, as well as maintains and repairs golf course outbuildings, fences, bridges, nets and screens. The Golf Course Worker also performs basic horticultural duties such as planting and pruning trees, shrubs and flowers and maintaining and creating flowerbeds.
