How to Make Social Media Work for You

Learn how Social Media platforms can work to your advantage. Create a strong and positive profile and personal brand, expand your network and connect professionally using social media.

Manage privacy settings and notifications. Learn how social media can help you find jobs, volunteer positions, internships……. Develop a plan to make social medial work for you!


This 3-hour workshop will include an orientation and overview on optimizing various social media, as well as a hands on component to practice what you learn.

The hands on component focuses between Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and other applicable social media platforms, with each topic alternating bi-weekly.
