Class 3 Truck Drivers (With Air Brake Endorsement)

Start Date:
Hours: 40 hours per week
Duties: Safe and efficient operation of a Class 3 motor vehicle (with air brakes)
Conduct all activities in accordance with the collection schedule
Collect garbage/recycling/yard waste from residential buildings, businesses, and other facilities
Work safely in accordance with WorkSafeBC and company policies
Conduct daily inspection of vehicle and accurately complete related documentation
Communicate with supervisor regarding concerns or suggestions
Dispose of curbside collections according to set policies and procedures
Requirements: Class 3 drivers license with air brake endorsement
Clean driving record (abstract required)
Minimum 1 year experience driving Class 3 vehicles
Safety minded approach to the daily tasks
Ability to work outdoors and safely lift up to 50lbs
Customer service and public interaction skills – written and verbal
Ability to pass a criminal record check and drug/alcohol test
Reliability, dedicated and team minded
