Duties: Irrigation: • The Irrigation Technician must be able to perform manual labour, have a strong work ethic, and work with minimal supervision in all of the Comox Valley weather conditions. • Technicians carry out a variety of functions with repair, and maintenance. These typically include identifying & moving materials, trenching & digging, basic irrigation component construction, and back-filling trenches & restoring the landscape after system is repaired. • During the fall shut downs, the Irrigation Technician will need to learn how to drive with and operate a commercial size air compressor. Responsibilities/Expectations: • Interacting with clients in a professional manner and ensuring clear communication of any client requests back to the office. • Being sure to always be safe and conscious of heavy machinery while on job sites. • While driving a company vehicle or any machinery, you are always expected to operate in accordance to the law and safety standards.
