Duties: Good things are growing at Tree Island Yogurt and we are looking for the right person to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to grow with an experienced team. The position report directly to the Co-founder, Director Brand and works as a member of the sales and marketing team, playing a key role in implementing marketing communications for our business and building development project. Duties • Uphold brand standards across all media and marketing • Coordinate Marketing Outreach including sampling, contests, giveaways, partnerships • Event participation such as community pancake breakfasts, silent audition prizes etc. • Maintain and develop contact database using software • Maintain and update demo events materials and brand ambassador training as required • Maintain marketing supply inventory, including print materials, swag inventory etc. • Update and maintain new website on an ongoing basis launching in spring • Write and research monthly business blog post & e-newsletters • Collaborate with nutritionist and/or chef for recipe and content development • Manage social media accounts to build community engagement • Inhouse photography and coordination with professionals where required • Internal communications for HR, admin materials and social events • Monthly monitoring and reporting

Requirements: Requirements • Passionate about health, nutrition, environmental stewardship and community • Strong writing and in-person presentation skills • Comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite for simple inhouse projects • Photography skills with interest in developing for social media • Digitally savvy but able to work in person, on paper and in digital formats • Project management skills • Experience working with printers and other suppliers • Ability to seek support when something is not in your wheelhouse • Diploma /Degree in Marketing Communications, with 1-2 years experience • Food Safe Certificate, or interest in completing upon hiring Who we are: Tree Island Yogurt is a thriving health food business founded by Scott DiGuistini, PhD and Merissa Myles, health enthusiast.
