RULE TWO:     Try Not to Miss Work

Be dependable. Not just in the first few days, weeks or months of your job — but as often as possible. You’re letting people down when you don’t go to work because you feel just a bit sick, too tired or you just don’t feel like it. Your coworkers and/or supervisor(s) will often have to work that much harder to make up for your absence and when others can’t depend on you, you lose their trust as well.
