Who Can Become a Client?

To become a client, you must be:

• Unemployed, or working 19 hours per week or less or in-receipt of a layoff notice
• Actively looking for work, and ready to accept a job immediately
• Looking for ongoing employment – not a student returning to school
• Legally entitled to work in Canada

How to Become a Client

Call or drop in to the WorkBC Centre Courtenay for a short intake.

An Employment Counsellor will assess your job search needs and decide which services and programs would work best for you.

When you call, please have your Social Insurance Number handy. It is required for Human Resources and Skills Development Canada accountability purposes.
