WhyTry is a 10-week Zoom course offered on:
Tuesdays and Thursdays – 11 am to 12:30pm from the
May 4th to July 13th, 2021 – for a total of 3 hours a week. (With a 15-minute break halfway through each day)
This course is for people who have been out of work, don’t know what to do, where to go for help and are discouraged.
This course is for people who may felt anxious and/or isolated and need connection.
This course will provide many fun ways to develop life skills, re-motivate, build resiliency, while creating a supportive, community atmosphere. It utilizes many methods to engage participants – metaphors are a primary tool, music, visual analogies, games, journaling, homework, art, group activities and discussions are all part of this exciting course.
Mostly, this is a course about building supports from within yourself and your community; where people can participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable doing, while remaining in an accepting, caring atmosphere.
