WorkBC Centre Courtenay is happy to host an in-person Women in Trades (She/Her) information session
Join Skilled Trades BC North Island representative Tawni Wilkins, Skilled Trades Employment Program (STEP) Island representative Caitlin Marion to discuss different options and grants for women looking to get into the trades in BC.
Bring your questions and learn about labour market information, who in the trades is hiring, what qualifications are most in-demand, and where a career in trades can take you. Hear from industry professionals and get a boots-on-the-ground approach to what a career in the trades looks like.
