Duties: Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and processing of payments. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in accordance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions. Manage time effectively to ensure all guests are attended to promptly during busy service periods. Provide basic bartending services when needed. Requirements: -2+ years experience in busy restaurant setting -Familiarity with food handling safety standards is advantageous. -Bartending experience an asset -Using Square POS systems for order entry and payment processing. -Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. -A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to engage with guests positively. -Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary. -Strong multitasking ability
