Duties: Seeking worker looking to gain experience and employment in the field of aquaculture. We run a small crew oyster farm with long term employee retention located in Deep Bay. Employees must be in good physical shape and be willing to work in varying weather conditions. Must have a valid driver\'s licence and reliable transportation. Duties include but are not limited to: Loading and screening oysters Pressure washing trays Operating boats Working with cranes and hydraulics A qualified employee would need to: Enjoy working outside Participate in gear maintenance and practices Have experience working with boats and hydraulics Have great attention to detail and a willingness to learn and adapt to an ever changing work environment Be able to communicate effectively with co-workers Express a passionate attitude toward shellfish and the ocean Be punctual, reliable, and accountable Be positive and a hardworking team player
