Wage: $18/hour plus gratuity, commensurate with education and experience
Hours: 20 -40 hours per week
Duties: Customer experience is everything—deliver exceptional hospitality that drives wine, cider, Wine Club, events, and venue sales. Share your knowledge of 40 Knots wines, ciders, and experiences to confidently guide guests and enhance every visit. Create memorable tastings, tours, picnics, and flights that showcase our property and products at their best. Ensure every guest leaves with a lasting positive impression; address concerns promptly and escalate when needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across all guest and work areas. Support service flow through bussing, cleaning, stocking, and maintaining presentation standards. Follow all liquor, safety, and company policies including ID checks and responsible service practices. Process sales accurately, handle cash and payments, and complete DTC orders and shipments. Safeguard customer, staff, and company information with care and professionalism. Participate in team meetings, safety briefings, and ongoing wine and hospitality education. Take initiative in learning our products, improving sales skills, and growing within the team. Support and guide fellow team members when needed, contributing to a strong, positive workplace culture.
Requirements: Professional appearance and polished, guest-ready demeanor at all times. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse guest groups. Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing, and basic math); additional languages are an asset. Confident computer skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Must be 19 years of age or older. Flexible availability, including weekends and varied scheduling. Current Serving It Right certification required. Current Food Safe certification required. Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Commitment to following all government regulations and 40 Knots policies and procedures.
