Duties: Expected duties include, but not limited to: Safely and carefully transport dishes. Dishwashing protocols such as organizing, pre-rinse, wash, dry/put away appropriately, keep dishwasher chemicals as appropriate, complete daily dishwasher logs (temperature/chemical checks), complete \"duties\" lists Maintain equipment, within capabilities (such as keeping clean and treating equipment in a careful manner; staying safe (following manufactures/company procedures); reporting issues in a timely manner to BOH Manager) Assist co-workers within training capabilities. For example, may assist with portioning, cleaning walk-in or dry storage areas, rotating in FIFO Must follow Worksafe BC sanitation and safety protocols.

Requirements: Requirements include, but not limited to: Being organized. Self-motivated (initiated to get tasks completed safely and efficiently) Responsible Reliable (not showing up late or skipping shifts unless valid reasons) Able to stay late (the dishwasher is one of the last workers to leave in the evening, usually about 1 hour (or until finished) after closing time Fast-paced environment, meaning more dishes Physically involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs and ensuring following WorksafeBC safety protocols (including appropriate ergonomics) Must be fit for duty Work well with others Follows direction WHMIS, Basic First Aid, FoodSafe Level 1 are all assets Drop off resume in person or email (do not call) This is a part-time job, schedule subject to change, but starting with Mondays and Wednesdays and possibly Saturdays. Mainly afternoon/evenings but may be required for a day shift.
