Community Inclusion Support Worker

Hours: Part-time plus Casual

It is the job of our community inclusion worker to assist individuals to meet their educational, social, and recreational goals in the community.
Beaufort Association for Inclusion in Action is seeking to fill a part-time plus casual position. Our Community Inclusion Worker will assist adults with community activities based on their Individual Goals. The Worker will support individuals and small groups of adults in a variety of social, recreational, educational, volunteer, and employment activities. This will include assisting in the development of skills, personal support, lifestyle planning, making choices and improving overall quality of life. (Please note COVID-19 protocols are in affect for all activities in this essential service position.)

The ideal candidate will have:
Related certification or an equivalent combination of skills and experience
Experience organizing programs, activities and objectives is an asset
Experience working with individual support plans is an asset
Experience with non-verbal communication is an asset
Class 5 Drivers License is required
Current First Aid with AED or ability to complete certification upon hiring
